Pelvic Plastic Surgery
Pelvic plastic surgery involves reconstructing a woman’s natural support tissues that have become damaged by childbirth, trauma or aging.
Many of these repairs can be performed through minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopic or robotic-assisted) which may reduce scarring, complications and shorten recovery time.골반필러
Native tissue repair involves repairing the muscles and supporting structures that are responsible for pelvic floor disorders, including herniated organs and leakage of urine or stool. These surgeries are typically performed through small incisions in the vagina or abdomen using sutures that dissolve.
During pregnancy and after childbirth, the muscles of your perineum (the space between your anus and the vagina) stretch and loosen, and this can lead to a widening of your vaginal opening and sagging, scarred skin around the area.
A surgical procedure called a perineoplasty tightens the perineum, narrows your vaginal opening and repairs loose or damaged skin surrounding the vagina.
A herniated rectum or rectocele is a condition where the rectum protrudes into or out of the vagina, causing pain during bowel movements and other symptoms.
In this surgery, a surgeon resuspended the protruding rectum to the patient’s own uterosacral or sacrospinous ligaments with graft material and a Y-shaped mesh to form a new abdominal wall.
Posterior and anterior vaginal prolapse and weakened underlying muscle tissue in the vulva are caused by the stresses of childbirth, age or injuries. This can lead to a prolapsed bladder, herniated sacroiliac joint or a ruptured rectum. These issues are often corrected by a surgical procedure called a colporrhaphy that tightens the weakened underlying tissue in the vulva and usually requires graft material.
Many women with a herniated rectum experience recurrent prolapses after initial treatment with exercise, pessaries or diet and lifestyle changes. This is because the weakened muscle tissue in the vulva does not regenerate with age and additional strain on the rectum can cause further problems.
In some cases, a surgical procedure called a sacral colpopexy is used in conjunction with a Y-shaped mesh to close and strengthen the vulva.
Until recently, there was no surgical procedure that could alter the shape of the hips and pelvic area to create a more hourglass body. Until Pelvic Plasty, the only genuine way to change the appearance of the pelvic and hip area was with butt implants or fillers.
A patient’s recovery from a pelvic plastic surgery is very similar to other types of surgery. Initially, patients may experience some discomfort and swelling after a surgery, but this should improve with time. Patients are advised to limit physical activity and avoid sexual activities until their doctor deems them ready for this.
It’s also important for patients to be sure to take any prescribed medications as directed by their physician and attend physical therapy sessions to help strengthen their pelvic muscles during this time. Patients should drink plenty of water and eat a diet rich in fiber to prevent constipation, and patients should refrain from using tampons until they’re healed. 골반필러
